A plate and mug in bone china of extremely high quality were made by the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company for Holy Trinity Church, Wentworth to celebrate the new Millennium.

The plate and mug feature a beautiful picture of the Church in colour taken from a photograph by the late Roland Cowen LMPA. Two other important features on the plate and mug are the crest of the Earls Fitzwilliam, the noble family who built the Church and the crest of the Ecclesiastical Diocese of Sheffield (Holy Trinity Church, Wentworth being one of the churches in the Diocese).

The appearance of the china is greatly enhanced by the picture and the crests that are shown in considerable detail by Royal Worcester. Details of the history of the Church are recorded on the reverse of the plate and on the base of the mug.

As this is a limited edition of 250 plates and 250 mugs, the items are now of considerable value to collectors. The size of the plate is 23cms in diameter and the mug is 9cms tall. Each item bears the stamp of Royal Worcester to verify its authenticity and comes in a blue presentation box.

The plate and mug may be purchased separately or as a pair.
